Bookkeeper

A well Established company based in Bryanston, requires a Bookkeeper DUTIES: Local Cashbook Processing and Bank Reconciliation Foreign Cashbook Processing and Bank Reconciliation Credit Card Processing and Reconciliation Management and Reconciliation of Fleet Cards Liaising with Relevant Banking Institutions Preparation of Periodic Cash Flow Forecasts Load Supplier Payments and Client Refunds on the banking platform Perform Reconciliations to Trial Balance Process intercompany Invoices and Payments Capturing of Monthly and Ad hoc Supplier Invoices Management of Unallocated Receipts and Payments Processing of AP Journals and General Journals Preparation of Supplier Reconciliations Review and report on Profit Margin and Mark-up Variances Provide support and documentation during External Audits General Requirements Attend all internal and third-party training courses as defined by the company Adhere to all published policies and processes Compliance with all legislation and regulations, including time and attendance and leave administration Apply strict confidentiality to all records, assets and information Adoption of an accountability stance for all stakeholder management Build strong ethical working relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external) Uphold all company values, ethics and promote the company culture Assistance with other job roles when required when colleagues are on leave etc REQUIREMENTS: Matric (essential) 4 years experience in a Bookkeeping role National Diploma or equivalent in accounting or related field High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and reconciliation skills Excellent time management and organizational abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure Experience with Sage X3 advantageous
