Occupational Nurse - FTC

A leading close/semi close cell foam plastics manufacturing & converting company requires the services of an Occupational Health Nurse for 2-3 days per week, preferably on a FTC. Assess health status of employees as per legal/and company specifications; Conducting/Facilitate wellness education/awareness training programmes; Counselling employees on various incapacitating substances/and abuse thereof etc; Conduct drug test "fit for work"assessments; Basic accident treatment; EAP programs; Audiomtric testing; Health awareness; Maintain 1st aid boxes and provide general health care throughout the company etc. Does additional duties duties as deemed necessary by the HSE dept. Requirements: Registered nurse/and diploma in Occupational health ; Registered with SA Nurses counsel; Indemnity to practice with SASOHN and SA Nursing counsel; Further note, indeminification against any nursing malpractice. At least 5 to 10 years experience in an Industrial working environment in a capacity as Occupational Health nurse would be preferred. Will be working alongside a Occupational Health doctor.
