Spray Painter

Our client, suppliers of products to the Construction and Civils market is requiring a Spray Painter Location: Port Elizabet/Gqeberha Job type: On-site Duties and Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers or undercoats. Mix and match paint colours to specifications or customer requirements. Apply paint using spray guns or other equipment in controlled environments Mask and protect areas not to be painted. Ensure proper drying and curing times between coats. Inspect finished work for quality, uniformity, and defects. Follow all safety and environmental protocols including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintain clean and organised work areas. Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12 preferred Spray Painter qualification advantageous. Experience as a spray painter in an automotive, industrial, or manufacturing environment (typically 2 years). Experience with different types of paints (e.g. water-based, solvent-based, powder coating) is an advantage. Skills Required Strong knowledge of spray painting techniques and equipment. Good eye for detail and colour matching. Understanding of safety practices and regulations. Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
