E-Plan Designer

Minimum Job Requirements: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current), a strong advantage. Minimum 1 years experience in E-Plan. Experience in creating E-Plan drawings essential. Strong understanding of electrical processes and knowledge of SANS 10142. Electrical panel building skills. Drivers License and own transport essential. Essential Experience Required: Design controls systems. Hardware selection according to Electrical principles. Experience in drafting designs in E-Plan. Be able to read and interpret E-Plan drawings. Responsibilities: Develop control concepts for Automation systems based on RFQs. Develop detailed bill of materials from control concepts. Document the control concept in E-Plan software. Continually improve design philosophy based on international and local electrical standards. Apply electrical principals to ensure sound operation of company projects. Competencies: Team player who understands the importance of transparency of tasks, progress and reviewing completed tasks as a team to ensure quality. Excellent communication skills. Good presentational skills. Intermediate MS Office proficiency. Excellent time management skills. Detail driven & goal oriented. Disciplined and organised.
