Job Description
Process, cut, trim, and grind various meats according to product specifications. Operate industrial food processing equipment including mincers, smokers, cookers, mixers, and fillers. Weigh, fill, press, and package meat products accurately and efficiently. Ensure the production schedule is followed to meet daily output targets. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, tools, and equipment. Inspect raw meat for quality, removing bones, sinew, and defects as needed. Store meat properly to ensure freshness and prevent contamination. Keep accurate batch records for traceability and compliance. Prepare special meat cuts and assist with sausage or cured meat production. Follow health, safety, and food handling procedures at all times. Recommend preparation methods or recipes for customer needs. Assist in additional tasks or special projects as required. Requirements Previous experience in meat processing or food production (advantageous). Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks quickly and precisely. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards. Comfortable working in cold environments and operating sharp tools. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and cleanliness. Team player with a positive work ethic and reliability.
