Job Description

The IT Field Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and hardware. This role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and diagnosing network issues, ensuring minimal downtime for users and business operations. Qualifications & Experience: Education advantage: Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator ITIL v3/v4 Experience: 2-5 years in IT support, field service, or system administration. Skills: Network administration, enterprise software support, intermediate troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line technical support to end-users, troubleshooting basic IT issues. Install, configure, and maintain hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.). Assist in setting up and maintaining networks, including Wi-Fi and LAN connections. Handle software installations, updates, and basic troubleshooting. Respond to service tickets and escalate complex issues to higher support levels. Maintain documentation of incidents and solutions. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and guidelines. Perform advanced troubleshooting on hardware, software, and network issues. Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and IT assets. Provide support for enterprise applications and cloud services. Assist in IT infrastructure projects, including migrations and upgrades. Configure and troubleshoot VoIP, VPNs, and remote access solutions.
