Contracts Manager Wanted – Multi-Storey Landmark Project in Green Point, Cape Town

A renowned and long-established building contractor is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a large, multi-storey building development in Green Point, Cape Town. This is a flagship project requiring a dynamic leader with a strong technical background and excellent contractual oversight. Key Responsibilities: Overall management of the project lifecycle, from contract award to final handover Coordinate multiple teams, including Site Agents, subcontractors, engineers, and consultants Ensure delivery on budget, programme, quality, and safety Oversee and manage all contractual and commercial aspects of the project Monitor project performance and implement risk mitigation strategies Liaise with clients, professional teams, and stakeholders at a senior level Manage procurement schedules and oversee supplier performance Provide regular reporting to directors and clients Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 10 years' experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Agent role on multi-storey or high-rise building projects Proven experience managing complex commercial projects In-depth knowledge of JBCC/NEC or similar contract suites Strong technical knowledge of structural, concrete, and architectural phases Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar Excellent planning, leadership, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple teams and high-value contracts simultaneously
