Service Technician – Instrumentation & Control Systems

You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of Measurement & Control (M&R) installations and Building Management Systems (BMS) in utility buildings. Your tasks will include: Performing scheduled and corrective maintenance on M&R systems Troubleshooting complex malfunctions and providing structural solutions Participating in a rotating on-call service (1 week every 8-10 weeks) Advising clients on energy savings and system optimizations Coordinating activities during client-sensitive moments (e.g. during surgeries, lectures, etc.) Preparing clear, professional maintenance and inspection reports You will also be a key contributor in discussions around system upgrades and sustainability measures, supporting both client goals and operational excellence. What You Bring You are a confident and independent technician who can communicate clearly and act as a professional representative of the organisation. You work well under pressure and have a strong sense of responsibility. In addition, you bring: A Red Seal Trade Certificate in Instrumentation Technician or a closely related field At least 2 years of experience in M&R technology, BMS, or similar installation environments PRIVA certification or similar I&C manufacturer training (preferred) A valid drivers license (Code B) Strong English skills; willingness to learn Dutch VCA VOL certificate (or willingness to obtain)
