Operations Manager ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR

Education required: B.Tech/B.Eng in Electrical Engineering Min 10 -15 years proven experience in the electrical, construction or technical environment as part of the project management team or managing of the project management team. Essential knowledge required: Operational and project planning Pricing tenders SHEQ AND ISO Compliance MS Project (Programming, Resource Histogram, etc.) Electrical Materials, Construction and Best Practices. SANS 10142 Up to date with industry regulations and current trends in electrical contracting Initiating & Chairing Hearings Understanding and Implementing Business Processes and Procedures. Managing of Contracts (JBCC, NEC, GCC, FIDIC) and all contractual matters that arise. High Technical Aptitude and Understanding. (Analytical and mathematical mind, capable of evaluating and solving various complex problems) - Knowledge of BCEA, LRA, Code of Good Practice, EEA & OHSA
