As Workshop Foreman, youll ensure adherence to a planned maintenance schedule for a fleet (trucks, forklifts, and other diesel vehicles), including attending to breakdowns. Part of your fleet management duties will include securing sufficient spare parts and conducting quality checks on repaired vehicles. We need a natural leader capable of effective management and sound customer relations (both internal and external). Knowledge of budgets in order to offer input in the budgeting process and cost monitoring and analysis is also required. Job requirements: § Qualified Red Seal trade tested Diesel Mechanic § 5 years post trade test experience, with 3-5 years experience in a managerial role § Computer literate § Sound technical knowledge (trucks, forklifts, and other diesel vehicles) § Valid Code EC drivers license with a valid PDP or forklift license is advantageous § Procurement experience If you thrive in a workshop setting, take a proactive leadership approach, and aim to grow within the mechanical field, we want to hear from you.
