Retail Office Admin Clerk

Position: Retail Office Admin Clerk Location: Retail store in Tasbet Park, Emalahleni Hours: 07:00am to 16:00pm Mondays to Fridays Salary: Competitive, based on experience Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retail Office Admin Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the retail store, assisting with office tasks, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities: - Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to customer inquiries - Perform data entry tasks, such as entering sales transactions and customer information - Do grv's, capture stock received, pricing of products. - Assist with stock takes, stock control and ordering of supplies and stock. - Maintain accurate records and files, organizing paperwork as needed - Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise - Process customer returns and exchanges, ensuring accuracy and efficiency - Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments for management staff - Handle cash transactions and prepare daily sales reports - Assist with general office tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and faxing documents Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a retail or office environment preferred - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions - Knowledge of inventory management systems a plus If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for customer service, we would love to hear from you.
