Project Manager - Mech Engineer

Project Manager - We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with a background in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, with 5 years of experience. Must have a track record of delivering projects on time and in line with professional project management principles Reports to: Manager Seniority Level: Mid Career (Above 6 yrs exp) Type: Permanent Duties and Responsibilities: A university degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering. 5 years of practical experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or related fields. Proven track record of delivering projects OTIF in line with professional project management principles. Experience in Mechanical Design in a production environment. Experience in Industrial automation and electrical control systems is advantageous. Experience in pneumatic system design is advantageous. A good understanding of Manufacturing Processes is advantageous. Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of Mechanical Design and CAD skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Hands-on approach and enjoy being involved in the practical aspects of the project. Takes calculated risk (not risk averse) with well-thought-out plans.
