Laser Cutting Operator

We are currently seeking a Laser Cutting Operator to assist with the production requirements of cutting various steel components for our Laser Department The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks: Set up and operate laser cutting machine Read and interpret technical drawings, and work orders Load and unload materials from the laser machine Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality output Perform routine machine maintenance and report malfunctions Inspect cut parts for accuracy and quality Keep work area clean and organized Qualifications and Experience Required: Matric Demonstrated experience in a similar role Attributes Required for position: Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Precision and accuracy Safety-consciousness Time management Adaptability Willingness to work overtime and alternate between day and night shift What working for us will be like: You will be part of a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture You will work alongside a diverse group of professionals You will enjoy continuous opportunities for personal growth and career advancement You will receive a competitive, market related wage and benefits package.
