Job Description
The organizations long-term objective is to develop young guides into senior instructors, thereby contributing to the wider industry by producing highly skilled professionals. At the same time, experienced guides are encouraged to step into instructor roles as a way of giving back to conservation and supporting the growth of future guides. Instructors based at the training camps are responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the camp. This includes planning and overseeing the maintenance of infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment. They are also accountable for all firearms and ammunition on-site, ensuring everything is securely stored, well-maintained, and in proper working order. Candidate requirements Head Instructors FGASA Professional Field Guide & Professional Trails Guide NQF 4, VPDA, Advanced Rifle Handling (current or near completion) 510 years related industry experience Current NDT Registration, PDP & FGASA Membership Assistant Instructors FGASA Nature Site Guide (NQF 2/4) & FGASA Trails Guide (NQF 4) Advanced Rifle Handling (current) Industry-related experience Current NDT Registration & FGASA Membership PDP Package & Benefits: Head Instructor: R24,000 R27,000/month CTC (negotiable based on experience & qualifications) Assistant Instructor: R18,000 R21,000/month CTC Accommodation: Single-tented accommodation provided Bonus incentive based on individual & company performance
