Technical Business Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION INFORMATION: Job Title: Technical Business Analyst Employment Type: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract Work Model: Fully Remote JOB CONTEXT: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end applications and experience working with APIs to source data. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. THE JOB REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on front-end applications and API integration. Strong understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs and understanding of JSON/XML data formats. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Outputs: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for front-end applications. Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories. Work closely with development teams to design, implement, and test front-end applications that integrate with various APIs. Ensure data sourced from APIs is accurately represented and utilized within the front-end application. Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, data mappings, and user guides. Assist in the creation and execution of test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of the application. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for front-end applications and related APIs. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in front-end development and API integration. Participate and provide feedback on any activities where QA practices and risks are to be considered from the writing of user stories, pre-development testing notes and executing QA testing activities in accordance to processes and quality guidelines so as to identify defects /quality concerns in projects. Facilitate, develop, implement (including training) and maintain business solutions, in support of customer objectives and improvement of organizational efficiency, covering elements of analysis and design for business processes, solution conceptualization, technical design and specification, and configuration. DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION: Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Knowledge and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in IT. Experience with data visualization tools and techniques. Knowledge of backend technologies and database management. Understanding of cloud services and deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure). Understanding of API testing and validation. FIGMA tool experience for UX/UI design mock-up topics. Scrum framework and knowledge. PACKAGE & REMUNERATION: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
