Service Technician – Utilities

As a Service Technician, your role is key in ensuring climate systems are safe, sustainable, and always operational. Youll perform regular maintenance, resolve technical issues, and support system upgrades. Specifically, youll: Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC installations and building management systems Diagnose and repair complex faults in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems Work project-based and participate in an on-call rota every 810 weeks (evenings/weekends, well-compensated) Engage with clients onsite to plan and execute tasks with minimal disruption Write clear reports after each service call or project Contribute ideas for improving energy efficiency and system performance You will be working mostly independently, but with strong support from your local team in Amersfoort, who meet regularly for planning, bonding, and fun. What You Bring Your technical insight and hands-on skills make all the difference for clients. You enjoy building long-term relationships, solving problems, and managing your own day-to-day schedule. To qualify for this role, you should have: A Red Seal Certificate as a Millwright or HVAC Technician (or equivalent trade) At least 2 years of experience in mechanical building installation maintenance A valid driver's license Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset Willingness to rotate on-call for emergency services (1 week every 8 weeks) Fluent in Afrikaans and English - and motivated to learn Dutch
