Junior Draftsman

Minimum requirements: National Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering Graphics, or related field Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D beneficial); experience with other CAD software is a plus Basic understanding of IT systems or site layout principles Willingness to occasionally travel to project sites for measurements or inspections Experience in mining services, construction, or industrial environments Knowledge of layout planning for installations or infrastructure projects Key Responsibilities: Support project proposals and installation planning by preparing accurate and professional site layout drawings Ensuring that all technical layouts meet client specifications, safety regulations, and operational requirements Prepare 2D and basic 3D drawings for project proposals, site layouts, and installation plans Assist the project and field service teams with drawing revisions based on site feedback or client changes Maintain and update drawing archives and version control systems Conduct site visits (as required) to gather measurements, photos, or technical input to inform layout accuracy Collaborate with project manager to align technical drawings with product specifications and installation constraints Assist with the development of standard layout templates and visual aids for client presentations and proposals Consultant: Timiyah de Goede - Dante Personnel Johannesburg
