Assistant Nursery Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for a disciplined and motivated individual to join the team at the team , a well-established operation in the forestry propagation industry. We are looking for a hands-on team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for agriculture and plant production. Key Responsibilities: Oversee forestry seedling and cutting propagation activities Manage growing operations including irrigation, spraying, and general plant care Perform quality control checks, weekly stock reporting, and germination assessments Manage order dispatch and coordinate the loading of delivery vehicles Oversee maintenance activities within the operation Requirements: Honest, reliable, and hardworking individual willing to “get their hands dirty” Strong organisational and time management skills Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team Fluent in both English and Zulu Keen interest in agriculture and plant production Advantageous: Horticulture qualification and relevant industry experience
