Financial Manager

Key responsibilities: Planning, coordinating and Preparation of the Group Annual Financial Statements and Company Annual Financial Statements. Planning, coordinating and Preparation of the Group Interim Results Booklet. Review Notes disclosures and schedules submitted by subsidiaries for interim and Annual reporting, the preparation of related disclosures and supporting detail schedules for annual and interim consolidated financial statements. Draft or update Financial Reporting Guidelines following the group accounting policies to ensure accounting practice alignment within group. Overall Group Tax Champion Taxation Research and Advice (Income Tax & Vat) Assessing Tax Issues and structures Completing Income Tax Returns (Group and Traditional portfolio) Tax Leakage and Assessed Losses Provisional Tax Drafting and updating the Audit and Risk Committee Agendas. Collaborate and support external auditors in quarterly reviews and annual audits. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience working in accounting and financial reporting with strong IFRS and consolidation experience. Experience of a JSE listed regulated environment, specifically reporting. CA (SA)
