Maintenance Specialist

This role is critical in ensuring operational continuity and safety across the plant and mining operations. You will lead the planning and execution of preventive maintenance, coordinate shutdowns, and drive optimal resource allocation through SAP and technical best practices. Minimum Requirements: Matric with Mathematics (essential) SAQA Accredited N5 (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent technical qualification 5 years maintenance experience in a heavy engineering environment 5 years experience in shutdown planning and plant maintenance Proficient in SAP MRP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Fluent in English (verbal and written) Strong communication, planning, and coordination skills Preferred/Advantageous: Recognised Trade Test qualification Construction or mining plant experience Key Responsibilities: Planned and coordinated all maintenance operations, including weekly and major shutdowns.
