Job Description
Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. (Some roles may accept equivalent experience.) 35 years of experience in IT sales, account management, or a related client-facing role, preferably in a technology-driven environment. Understanding of IT products, services, and terminology, such as networks, cloud computing, software licensing, cybersecurity, and managed services. Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical clients. Proven ability to build trust, manage client relationships, and handle negotiations. An analytical mindset to assess client needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions. Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to work across multiple teams to meet client goals. Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics. Ability to identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth. Certifications such as CompTIA A, Network, ITIL, or vendor-specific credentials (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) can be a plus. Job Duties: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their IT needs are understood and addressed effectively. Technical Consultation: Serve as a trusted advisor on technology solutions, working closely with clients to recommend IT systems and strategies aligned with their business goals. Sales and Account Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell IT services and solutions, contributing to revenue growth within assigned accounts. Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal IT teams to deliver solutions, manage timelines, and ensure the successful implementation of projects. Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for client concerns or service issues, ensuring timely resolutions and client satisfaction. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, service agreements, and project progress. Provide regular performance and usage reports as needed. Contract and SLA Management: Oversee contract renewals and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). Market Awareness: Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to provide strategic guidance and maintain a competitive edge.
