Job Description
A leading Cape Town-based Electrical Contractor is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Tender Administrator to join their dynamic team. They specialise in large-scale electrical construction projects across the Western Cape and are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage all tender submissions from start to finish. Liaise with the Estimating team, Finance Department, and CEO to gather necessary documentation and approvals. Compile tender documentation in accordance with client requirements and ensure timely submission. Manage pre-qualification documents, vendor registrations, and compliance certificates. Track tender opportunities, maintain a tender schedule, and ensure records are accurate and up to date. Handle administrative support for the Estimating and Finance teams as required. Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar Tender Administrator or Bids Coordinator role, preferably in the construction or electrical industry. Strong understanding of tender processes, compliance, and documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. nowledge of CIDB, COID, CSD, and other compliance platforms is advantageous.
