Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting, Systems and Processes Responsible for reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Continuous review of relevant systems and ensure new implementation, where applicable. Ensure food safety standards & housekeeping are always adhered to. Ensure effective use of the Warehouse Management System Monitor existing processes and procedures to ensure maximum utilization of resources Ensure stock control processes are followed to minimize unauthorized removal of product/materials from the store or warehouse premises Manage all warehousing procedures inbound, outbound and production transfers Ensure that relevant stock control systems are up to date and accurate. Distribution, Planning and Operations Execution of FEFO/FIFO Responsible for inventory management Manage Annual Financial Audits & regular stock takes Manage stock issuing to production departments Vehicle loading management Ensure equipment is effectively utilized and properly maintained. Plan future capacity requirements Manage annual procedure updates. Responsible for the management of relevant warehouse associated costs Participate in safety forums and attend relevant training/programmes Report all safety incidents to the relevant people Comply with safety policies and procedures Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics or Finance essential 5 Years relevant working experience in an FMCG or similar environment with specific reference to managing teams Computer literacy on MS Office packages with specific reference to Excel Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous Thorough understanding of financial reporting and control procedures essential
