Senior Java/Spark Developer IJF

Main responsibilities Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable Java and Spark code Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions Write clean and optimized code, troubleshoot and debug applications Ensure that applications are delivered on-time and meet project requirements Identify and recommend improvements to existing code, architecture, and development practices Mentor junior / intermediate developers and conduct knowledge sharing sessions Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development Participate in L3 support Any other adhoc duties as assigned. Qualifications Working experience in Java development and Spark Java framework Good working knowledge of software development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, etc Experience of end-to-end design and implementation of complex IT systems Technical 7 years of experience in Java development (Core Java 8) and associated frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Jenkins) preferred. 3 years of experience in Spark Java framework or other flavors of Spark Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles is advantageous Solid database skills (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) Good experience on DevOps / DevSecOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Nexus, Maven / Gradle, SONAR, CheckMarx is advantageous Comfortable with source code management system such as Git Experience with application containerization using Kubernetes and Docker Experience with S3 and APIs Interested applicants, please Email , and look for Jensen Fang Lifa Recruit Express Pte Ltd EA License No. 99C4599 EA Personnel Registration Number: R2197080 We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
