PLC Control Engineer III

BEPC Mexico, a division of BEPC Incorporated, provides and manages consulting services for Automotive and Medical device companies throughout Mexico and around the globe. BEPC Inc. is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced PLC Controls Engineer III to lead and execute multiple automation and control projects for warehouse and material handling systems. This role demands extensive travel to client sites across the U.S., with occasional work at our Mason, OH office. As a senior-level engineer, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle — from planning and programming to on-site testing and implementation. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in PLC programming, electrical design, and motion control systems. KEY RESPONSABILITIES: Lead and manage electrical and control system projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule. Design, develop, and implement software and control systems including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and motion control. Install and support software applications and operating systems. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and external stakeholders. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and progress reports. Execute and oversee test plans including internal testing, FAT, UAT, and BUAT. Coordinate project resources and delegate tasks effectively. Participate in weekly project meetings and provide client updates. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. (Must) 7 years of hands-on experience in controls engineering for warehouse automation or material handling systems (post/parcel sector preferred). Proven leadership experience in roles such as Project Lead, Team Lead, Supervisor, or Project Manager. Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple concurrent projects. Willing to travel across the US (90%) based in Mason, Ohio. Advanced English prificiency (written and spoken) You must have a valid Tourist Visa at the time of your application.
