PLC Control Engineer

BEPC Mexico, a division of BEPC Incorporated, provides and manages consulting services for Automotive and Medical device companies throughout Mexico and around the globe. We are seeking a talented and driven PLC Controls Engineer II to commission and test automated material handling systems featuring high-speed sortation, scanning, and merging applications. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of all controls-related project elements throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the controls scope, managing budget, schedule, and resources while applying a systems-level approach to design, electrical architecture, and project dependencies. This includes coordinating engineering resources and maintaining alignment with both internal teams and external stakeholders. KEY RESPONSABILITIES: Lead the technical implementation of electrical control systems, including PLC programming and on-site commissioning. Manage project scope, quality, and deliverables to meet customer expectations. Collaborate with other Project Engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including QA/QC validations and test plans. Execute and support system testing phases (BUAT, UAT, FAT) and on-site commissioning activities. Provide customer training and post-installation technical support. Coordinate and forecast electrical engineering resources, both in-house and on-site. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. (Must) Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Controls Engineering role, preferably in warehouse automation or material handling systems. Willing to travel across the US (90%) based in Mason, Ohio. Advanced English prificiency (written and spoken) You must have a valid Tourist Visa at the time of your application. We will process your TN Visa if you are selected.
