Senior Accounting and Reporting Specialist

Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounting and Reporting Specialist to join our team in Milan North-East (Vimodrone Site, Metro Verde: Cascina Burrona). This role plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting, both internally and externally. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting and reporting tasks, including preparing monthly reports, consolidating financial statements, and managing relationships with external auditors. What you’ll do: Accurate and timely production and finalization of monthly Group Reporting in accordance with international standards (IFRS); Verification of the correct and timely maintenance of accounting records for the assigned companies; Definition and implementation of adequate procedures for the correct maintenance and timely update of the general ledger; Preparation of the annual financial statements and related attachments, ensuring accuracy and respect of deadlines; Support to Management in the analysis of economic and financial data; Organization of intercompany processes, including regular reconciliation of intra-group balances; Management of relationships with the auditing company; Preparation of data for Intrastat, LIPE, 770 simplified, etc.; Provision of necessary documentation to stakeholders in a timely manner; Guarantee of quality and compliance with deadlines for tax returns and other obligations. Qualifications Master’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the life sciences industry; Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Native Italian and fluency in English, both written and spoken (at least B2 according to the CEFR); Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
