Software Engineering Manager

Job Description: We are a leading IT company developing cutting-edge Data Analytics products that empower businesses with AI/ML and Big Data insights. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Engineering Manager to lead and scale our high-performing engineering team. Key Responsibilities : • Team Leadership & Mentorship: o Lead, mentor, and grow a talented engineering team. o Manage team performance and conduct quarterly appraisals. o Handle resource planning and hiring initiatives. • Agile & Delivery Management: o Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives). o Plan and manage sprints and releases. o Monitor team velocity and sprint metrics. o Ensure timely delivery of features and adherence to roadmap commitments. o Allocate tasks and manage workload balance. • Hands-On Technical Oversight: o Be hands-on in relevant technologies and assist in firefighting when required. o Enforce coding standards and development best practices. o Oversee code reviews to maintain high technical quality. • Collaboration & Communication: o Coordinate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. o Manage discussions around bugs, issues, and technical fixes. • Solution Ownership: o Take responsibility for overall tech delivery. o Manage solution architecture ensuring scalability and performance. o Facilitate demos, Proof of Concepts (PoC), and Technology Evaluations (TeC). o Support DevOps and deployment processes. • Strategic Alignment: o Ensure technical decisions align with architectural and business objectives.
