Role: Controls SME Location: Navi Mumbai Budget: 20 to 25 LPA Experience: 10 to 15 years ROLE SUMMARY The Controls SME is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting HVAC Controls, SCADA systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS), particularly in data center environments. Key responsibilities include developing control logic, programming user interfaces, troubleshooting systems, and coordinating with multiple teams and vendors to meet project requirements. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations in complex, cross-functional settings. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Develop BMS and power management projects scope of work, schedule, budget, and level of efforts (LOE) to projects requested by customers and stakeholders.  Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS improvement projects in BDx data centers.  Assist in procurement related activities including request for quotation/proposals, responding to request for information, review of vendors proposal and issuance of purchase orders.  Support Controls projects related commissioning activities in the data centers.  Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.  Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.  Develop data center vulnerability remediation playbooks for control system designs in QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE  Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.  Excellent understanding of industry-standard electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, as well as controls/monitoring systems.  Experience of 10 years in designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting or servicing HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, Building Management System (BMS) Controls software and networks.  Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces.  Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements and navigate challenging situations.  Project coordination experience with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements for data centers.  TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet and/or MODBUS communication protocol experience.  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
