Social Media Manager

Location : Costa del Sol, Spain Employment Type : Full-time Industry : Real Estate POSITION OVERVIEW Hi Homes is one of the fastest-growing real estate brands on the Costa del Sol — and we’re now looking for a Social Media Manager to take our multi-channel presence to the next level. This is a full-time position based out of our head office in Calahonda, and applicants must already reside in Spain, with a valid residency card and a driver’s license. This role is ideal for someone creative, proactive, and social-media fluent — with a strong eye for design, a feel for platform-native trends, and the ability to turn market insights into highly engaging short-form content. You will be responsible for building and executing an organic content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn & TikTok. We are a video-first company, but this role isn’t just about repurposing — it’s about developing original content, staying in tune with real estate and lifestyle trends, and ensuring that Hi Homes becomes the go-to brand for Costa del Sol property across all platforms. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain a strategic annual, quarterly, and monthly content calendar across all social platforms Publish high-quality organic content daily, with a clear balance across 6 content pillars Generate unique, platform-specific content including: Property promotions and launches, Testimonials, Polls and community engagement, News, Market insights & updates, Behind-the-scenes and company culture, Local highlights (restaurants, beaches, hot spots) Stay up to date on platform trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure maximum engagement Analyze performance across all channels using tools like Metricool or Meta Suite and adjust strategy accordingly Collaborate closely with Management & YouTube Channel Manager to align timing, messaging, and campaign launches Design and publish custom thumbnails for all long-form YouTube videos and adapt them to drive traffic via Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn & TikTok Potential to assist with or evolve into supporting paid campaigns (Meta Ads) if experienced QUALIFICATIONS Currently residing in Spain, with a valid residence card and driver’s license 2 years of experience managing social media for a brand or business Deep understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and content best practices Skilled in Canva, CapCut, OpusClip, or similar short-form editing tools Confident in writing clear, concise, and engaging English-language captions Familiarity with scheduling and analytics platforms (Metricool, Meta Suite) Creative mindset with strong visual judgment and attention to brand consistency Experience with Meta Ads is a strong plus Interest or background in real estate, lifestyle, or travel content is an advantage Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a big plus Strong video editing skills are a must. Proven experience required. Knowledge of Final Cut Pro X (FCPX) is a strong plus.
