The Opportunity: Join our rapidly expanding team and lead strategic partnerships with major retail players in Spain's dynamic smartphone market. Drive growth with leading retail partners while shaping the future of mobile technology distribution. Role Summary: We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Account Director to lead our engagement and drive significant sales growth with assigned key partners within Spain's open channel. This senior role is pivotal in managing these critical relationships, optimizing their performance, and expanding our market presence through our premium smartphone portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to navigate Spain's unique retail landscape. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans for assigned key open channel partners, targeting substantial growth, market share increase, and profitability optimization Lead, mentor, and inspire your account management team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration Cultivate and deepen C-level relationships within major Spanish retailers, establishing genuine, long-term strategic partnerships built on trust and mutual commercial success Oversee and lead complex negotiations for commercial terms, marketing investments, and product ranging within assigned accounts Analyze Spain's competitive landscape, market trends, and sales performance data to identify new opportunities Champion outstanding communication, ensuring clarity and impact in all interactions with partners and internal teams Collaborate effectively across go-to-market, marketing, supply chain and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of omnichannel initiatives Embody a "go-getter" spirit, proactively identifying new business opportunities in emerging categories (foldables, IoT, wearables) and overcoming challenges with resilience Skills & Experience: Proven experience (8-10 years) in senior channel sales managing major accounts within smartphone/consumer electronics in Spain Demonstrable track record of achieving significant sales growth and managing P&L responsibilities Native Spanish speaker; English and Catalan are a plus Deep expertise in Spanish retail landscape including operations of major retailers and e-commerce platforms Exceptional negotiation skills with proven ability to secure favorable commercial terms and marketing investments Strong leadership qualities, with experience managing high-performing teams Proficiency in MS Office Understanding of Spanish consumer protection laws, GDPR, and retail regulations What We Offer: Competitive package: Attractive base salary performance-based incentives Comprehensive benefits: car allowance, latest flagship smartphone, private health insurance Dynamic culture: Entrepreneurial, innovation-driven environment Impact: Shape Spain's smartphone market while working with cutting-edge technology
