This position will be required to work out of our New Castle, DE warehouse; this is not a remote role.
Job Description
The Ideal Teammate Would Be Able To:
- Operate construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including excavator, front-end loaders, bulldozers, or grade tractors
- Blend material for bulk supplies
- Transport tools and other construction equipment such as Bobcat, Forklift
- Inspect and fuel vehicle prior to beginning shift
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment daily
- Work prolonged periods of operating heavy machinery
- Work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary
- Operate machinery in all weather conditions and terrains
- Lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Would you describe yourself as someone who has:
- 3 years' experience of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.
- Valid Driver's license
- Vocational school training or apprenticeship
- Ability to be flexible to support needs of manufacturing
- Excellent mechanical skills
- Complete tasks by safely and efficiently operating and maintaining equipment
- Team player, able to get along with a diverse group of people
- Dependability is a must
