Job Title: ICU RN Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: Experience in Cardiac ICU. Experience with Pulmonary Artery Catheters and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump. Description: The position requires strong ICU experience with a focus on Cardiac ICU. Candidates should be familiar with advanced cardiac care equipment, including SWAN, IMPELLA, and IABP. Experience with Target Temperature Management devices is preferred. The unit comprises 24 beds with varying patient ratios of 2:1, and occasionally 3:1 for short periods. Patients include both medical and cardiac ICU patients. The ideal candidate is humble, energetic, compassionate, adaptable, and a team player. The dress code includes galaxy blue scrub tops and bottoms or jackets, with black scrub bottoms only. Required knowledge hub modules must be completed during the orientation week. The facility is recognized for numerous medical firsts and advanced heart care treatments. It provides comprehensive 24/7 STEMI heart attack care and treatment. Additional roles may require being a resource to fellow nurses as needed. Team members will have opportunities for continued education and involvement in innovative treatments.
