Job Description Job Description Job Overview: The Postal Clerk operates Misericordia University’s campus post office. The position is responsible for managing the university's mail and package distribution services, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing mail. In addition, plays a vital role in maintaining communication within the university community and providing excellent customer service to faculty, staff, and students. Related Duties: Some diverse hours at peak times during year, weekends, evening, and/or university breaks Uphold and promote the Mission and Philosophy of the University and the Sisters of Mercy. Preserve honesty and integrity in the professional affairs of the University; adhere to high standards of ethical practices and conduct. Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: At least one year of related experience and/or training preferred. Knowledge of federal postal procedures would be helpful. Licenses/Certifications: Must possess a valid PA driver’s license. (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered.)
