Job Description Job Description Job Title: Mission Critical - Electrical Project Manager Location: Greensboro, NC 27401 Workplace Type: Onsite Job Type: Full-time Experience Type: Mission Critical Construction Projects Job Summary: · We are seeking an experienced Mission Critical Electrical Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction projects in highly technical, mission-critical environments. · This role demands a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in managing electrical systems for data centers, healthcare facilities, laboratories, or other mission-critical infrastructure. · As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be accountable for the overall success of multiple high-profile projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards. · You will be responsible for all aspects of pre-construction planning, project execution, material procurement, subcontractor management, scheduling, safety compliance, quality control, and client relations. · The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage teams, vendors, and subcontractors, while maintaining focus on client satisfaction and company profitability. · This is a career-defining opportunity to make a meaningful impact on critical infrastructure projects that serve essential community functions for years to come. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Construction & Planning: Manage contract administration, project setup, budgets, schedules, and procurement plans. Prepare pricing and procurement of subcontractor and vendor packages. Review project documentation (drawings, specs) to ensure scope compliance. Lead submittal process and manage approvals with subcontractors and vendors. Collaborate on BIM/VDC plans with design and operations teams for project coordination. Project Execution: Oversee daily operations, schedule management, and workforce planning. Ensure timely delivery of materials, proper job site logistics, and prefabrication coordination. Manage project safety plans, quality control programs, and compliance with industry codes and regulations. Conduct regular project meetings to track progress, address issues, and ensure stakeholder alignment. Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure scope adherence, schedule compliance, and quality execution. Manage subcontractor billing and change order processes. Cost Management & Reporting: Manage all cost tracking, change orders, and financial reporting. Conduct monthly Work-in-Progress (WIP) meetings to review budgets, projections, and performance metrics. Provide accurate forecasts for project completion dates, labor needs, and material costs. Client Relationship & External Coordination: Build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors. Act as the primary point of contact for project owners, sponsors, and external stakeholders. Represent the company professionally in all project-related activities and events. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5-10 years of Project Management experience in mission-critical electrical construction projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction sequencing, building codes, and safety regulations. Proven expertise in cost control, scheduling, subcontractor management, and project financials. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Bluebeam Revu, estimating software, and scheduling tools preferred. Experience with BIM/VDC coordination and pre-fabrication planning a strong plus. Leadership skills with proven ability to manage teams and resolve complex construction challenges. Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Industry certifications and field experience are highly desirable.
