As the multi-family division continues to grow, the company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee the execution of key projects, including their first $70M podium apartment project. About the Position: The company is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead and manage the company’s multi-family projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a $70M podium apartment project, with the opportunity for significant professional growth. The ideal candidate will have experience running at least one $50M podium project as the lead Superintendent. This is a high-profile position with the potential to evolve into a Field Operations Manager role within a few years as the company continues to expand. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all field operations for the $70M podium apartment project, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure project efficiency and safety. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Oversee quality control on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders. Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep the project on track and within scope. Lead safety initiatives on-site and ensure adherence to OSHA standards and company safety policies. Mentor and develop team members, promoting a collaborative work environment. Provide leadership and guidance to field staff, ensuring effective communication and smooth project execution. Support the senior management team in strategic planning and resource management. Requirements: 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multi-family or podium projects. Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar projects, specifically podium-style construction, with at least one project valued at $50M or more. Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage large teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. OSHA certification and other relevant safety certifications are highly desirable.
