Responsibilities: • Draft comprehensive wills and other estate planning documents tailored to client needs. • Advise clients on trusts, estates, and strategies to manage their assets effectively. • Conduct thorough legal research to ensure compliance with estate laws and regulations. • Provide counsel on estate tax matters, including the preparation of estate tax returns. • Collaborate with clients to develop customized plans that address their financial and familial goals. • Stay updated on changes in estate law to inform and improve legal practices. • Assist clients in resolving disputes related to estate administration and trusts. • Ensure accurate documentation and filing of all estate-related legal materials. • Represent clients in legal proceedings as needed to address estate planning or tax issues. • Proven experience in estate planning and drafting wills. • Strong understanding of trusts and estates law. • Familiarity with estate tax regulations and preparation of estate tax returns. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal. • Licensed to practice law in Illinois. • Ability to manage multiple cases and clients simultaneously. • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
