Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our dynamic litigation practice in Baltimore, Maryland. This role offers a blend of in-office work with some remote flexibility, allowing you to collaborate with a dedicated team serving clients in the commercial litigation sector. If you are passionate about litigation and eager to develop expertise in complex litigation, this opportunity is ideal for you. Responsibilities: • Manage and resolve disputes for clients. • Draft and file motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail. • Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws. • Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and mediations as needed. • Collaborate with supervising attorneys to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes. • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, guidance, and legal advice. • Stay informed about developments in law to offer informed counsel. • Balance multiple cases and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization. • Admission to the Maryland Bar is required; Virginia and District of Columbia Bar admissions are a plus. • A minimum of two years of experience in commercial litigation, with additional experience welcomed. • Strong research, writing, and communication skills are essential. • Ability to draft legal documents and manage cases independently or under supervision. • Detail-oriented and highly motivated to learn principles of construction law. • Prior experience in depositions and motions practice is highly desirable. • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
