Associate Attorney

Job Description Job Description Regional law firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a talented and motivated remote Associate Attorney on a part-time (20 hours per week) basis. As an Associate Attorney with this firm, you will join the Post Mergers and Acquisitions Dispute group supporting a Partner with large scale litigations. This is a remote position so candidates from around the US are encouraged to apply. This position is 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule across time zones. The ideal candidate thrives in an independent work environment, has a strong work ethic, and is passionate about civil litigation. Key Responsibilities: Conduct legal research on a variety of matters related to post M& A disputes Draft various documents including memorandum, motions, and briefs Document review to issue spot as needed Misc. overflow work as needed related to litigation matters Qualifications: Licensed to practice law in any US jurisdiction At least 3-7 years of as a practicing civil litigator Candidates with prior experience in Big Law are highly preferred Strong legal research and writing skills using Westlaw and LexisNexis
