Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Nucleus Healthcare is seeking a Echo Tech - Echocardiography for a 13-week contract assignment at a leading academic health system in Cape May, New Jersey . This health system provides access to primary, specialty, tertiary, and urgent care, all within one complete health system. Our client is a Level I trauma center, and is consistently recognized for its quality, safety, and exceptional patient care. Urgent Need - Start Date ASAPLocation: Cape May, NJPosition: Echo TechSchedule: M-F position, 8a-4p no callCertifications required: BLS, and must be registered through either ARDMS or CCI Minimum requirements include: Performs cardiac ultrasound tests (including stress echo' and transesophageal echo's) in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography and complies with ICAEL standards.Demonstrates full knowledge of cardiac ultrasound and the usage of digital ultrasound equipment.Completes daily scheduled tests in the appropriate time frame and to population specific group.Ability to prepare the patient and explain the procedure.Ability to navigate through an electronic medical record.
