Travel Nurse RN - PCU in Columbus, OH

Registered Nurse/PCU: Duration:13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Description: Provides direct and compassionate nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and moderate intervention. Monitors vital signs, administers medications, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Responds promptly to changes in patient conditions and ensures continuity of care. Maintains accurate documentation and supports patient education and recovery. Schedule: 3x12-hour D/N Rotating shift - (36 hours per week) Weekdays and some weekends Rotating holidays required Traveler will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed. Unit Details: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Lower Acuity Cardiac Cardiac experience preferred Patient ratio: 1:3-4 Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg experience required BCLS and ACLS certifications required Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation EPIC experience required Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care for patients in a lower acuity cardiac unit Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures Float to units of similar or lower acuity as needed This is a great opportunity for experienced nurses looking About Accede: Accede Solutions is a Nationally Certified Search firm providing services in multiple sectors.
