Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide comprehensive speech and language services to elementary school-aged students in the Sidney, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will be committed to student growth, collaborate effectively with educators and parents, and contribute to a positive school community. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary students to determine eligibility for services. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders, aligning with state and federal regulations. Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, individually and in small groups, addressing a variety of communication needs (e.g., articulation, phonology, language, fluency, voice, social communication). Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, administrators, and other school personnel to support student success in the classroom and at home. Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development opportunities. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student services, progress, and communication. Educate school staff and parents on communication development and strategies to support students. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology license (or eligibility for licensure). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred. Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong commitment to student-centered practice.
