Job Description Job Description OrrVilla Retirement Community, a single-site faith-based community, seeks a trustworthy, seasoned accountant who understands the value of a supportive culture. Duties/Responsibilities: Perform or manage all aspects of the accounting, finance, and payroll functions, maintain accurate financial records, and communicate essential financial information to management for both OrrVilla, Inc. and OrrVilla Manor I Incorporated. Prepare annual budgets in coordination with the Executive Director Prepare requested schedules and documentation for annual reviews performed by external CPA firm and review resulting draft financial statements and Forms 990 Prepare financial forecasts, projections, and other ad hoc reporting upon request Required Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, journal entries, and financial statements Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and QuickBooks Online Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently with limited supervision Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Knowledge/ability to work with external CPA firm for annual reviews Education/Experience: Five to seven years of accounting or finance experience Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
