Locums Neurosurgery - Eureka, CA Coverage Need Assignment Dates: September 1, 2025 - Ongoing 1 week per month, preferably the first week Additional dates: - February 14-26, 2026 - May 1-4, 2026 - November 21-December 3, 2026 - February 12-21, 2027 Schedule: 24-hour hospital call with clinic on M/W/F from 9am to 4pm Duration: Ongoing Position Details Provider Type: Physician Practice Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 20-30 minutes Admissions Required: No EMR: Epic Stroke Certified Facility: Yes Trauma Level: 3 Will Facility Accept Multiple Providers: Yes Call Coverage: Both scheduled clinic hours and call Call Schedule: - M/W/F: hourly 9am-4pm, night call 4pm-9am - T/Th/Sat/Sun: 24-hour call inclusive of 3 patient contact hours PA/NPs: 1 FLUORO license required (must be valid through May 2026 or permanent) Submissions Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3 years of residency Licensed in CA Clean history Skill Requirements General neurosurgery (adult) Trauma neurosurgery Tumors VP shunt Spinal surgery with instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar) Spinal surgery without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar) Placement of ICP monitors Application of external traction
