Travel Interventional Radiology - $3,221 per week in Charleston, WV

Job Title: Angiography Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours (07:30 - 18:00) Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: ARRT, State License Required (may submit with pending but must be active prior to start) Certifications: BLS; Vascular Intervention Certification Preferred Must-Have: - First Time Travelers Accepted - On-Call Requirement: A total of approximately 8 Days a month, including 1 weekend/month with a 30-minute response time - Floating required Description: The role involves working within an Interventional Vascular Radiology suite. You will be responsible for peripheral angiography / venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, and neuro-intervention including acute stroke and embolization. You will monitor patients accurately and set up equipment. This includes performing EKG lead placement and prepping access sites. You will recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and maintain sterile fields. Experience with vascular closure systems is preferred. Familiarity with equipment such as PACS, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound is required. You will need to maintain inventory and stock supplies. Infection control using sterile techniques is essential. The average daily census for the unit is 7-10 patients. Blocked schedule requests can be accommodated within reason, to be discussed during the interview. Please note that there is a flu vaccine requirement unless a medical exemption is documented. COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
