Job Description

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:30 - 18:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: None specified Must-Have: 1 year of relevant experience Available for on-call shifts Willingness to float within the facility as needed Required to work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period Description: Schedule: Monday - Friday with variable days off. Weekend on-call requirement: 2 weekdays monthly and one weekend. Unit accepts first-time travelers. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine fit. If clinical fit is confirmed, a final decision will be made by management. Requests for time off (RTO) are limited to a maximum of 7 days. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Full compliance with requirements is necessary to start on time. If compliance is not achieved, the start date may be pushed back by 2 weeks due to orientation schedules. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers. Candidates must be available to submit required items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing the contract. Return travelers must complete one successful assignment outside of the organization before rebooking.
