Travel Interventional Radiology - $3,246 per week in Madison, WI

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Interventional Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (12:30 PM - 10:30 PM) Experience: Two years of clinical interventional imaging experience required License: State Licensed Radiographer required Certifications: ARRT Registries of Radiography (R) required, (V) highly preferred Must-Have: BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association Description: We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist Interventional. The role involves working collaboratively with physicians and nurses in the Vascular Interventional team. You will use multiple imaging modalities for diagnostic and interventional purposes, including Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, and MR. You will image inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, and intra-operative patients while applying critical thinking skills. Scrubbing in for procedures is not a standard practice in this role. Travelers must reside 50 miles from the assigned primary work site location. Preferred experience with Siemens and GE imaging systems is advantageous. Experience with PACS is required. Orientation will consist of 20 hours of training. This position may include weekend rotation and standby call requirements based on operational needs. Flu vaccine is required with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only. Please note that the successful candidate will undergo pass/fail testing with strict criteria before starting. A telemetry exam will be required prior to the start, with specific passing criteria. Candidates will have two attempts to pass the telemetry exam; otherwise, further education may be required. Competency renewal for telemetry must be maintained while in the position.
