Insurance Defense Paralegal- Miami

Job Description Job Description LHH is looking for a highly skilled Paralegal with experience in Insurance Defense to join one of our clients in the Miami area. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and communication skills and be able to manage complex legal matters with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities: Support attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings Perform legal research and draft documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date Interview clients and witnesses, gather facts, and obtain statements Coordinate with experts, investigators, and other professionals to aid in case preparation Collect medical records, subpoena requests, and create medical chronologies Stay informed about laws and regulations related to general liability and construction defects Assist in the discovery process, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests Prepare exhibits and trial binders Attend depositions and court proceedings as needed Requirements: Must have a paralegal certificate Professional demeanor Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Detail-oriented Ability to handle Subpoenas for various records (medical, employment, etc.) Communicate with experts, organize material for expert review Respond effectively in a team setting Multi-task independently and manage multiple demands Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, iManage, e-Copy, PDF conversion Prepare for trial: exhibits, witness materials, pre-trial documents Organize key documents chronologically Review and organize opposing parties' and co-defendants' document productions Redact claim files, medical records, police reports, emails, etc. Work full-time, M-F 8:30am-5pm Reliable and excellent attendance If you are a motivated and experienced Paralegal looking to contribute to a dynamic and supportive legal team, we encourage you to apply!
