Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our team in McKinney, Texas. This role involves managing a broad spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, policy development, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace environment while ensuring adherence to legal and organizational standards. Responsibilities: Facilitate recruitment processes by coordinating interviews, evaluating candidate qualifications, and advising managers on hiring decisions. Partner with colleges and external vendors to strengthen recruitment strategies and build talent pipelines. Collaborate with employees and supervisors to update job descriptions and ensure alignment with organizational needs. Develop, revise, and implement HR policies and employee handbooks to maintain clarity and compliance. Conduct compensation reviews, including pay surveys and job evaluations, and recommend necessary adjustments to salary structures. Train managers on effective performance management strategies, including coaching, disciplinary actions, and handling grievances. Address employee concerns by mediating conflicts and fostering positive relations between staff and management. Administer benefit programs, including enrollment processes and compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor legal compliance by staying informed of HR regulations, conducting investigations, and representing the organization during hearings. Coordinate training sessions to enhance employee knowledge of HR policies and workplace practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or Industrial Relations. Certifications such as Senior Human Resources or Global Human Resources are preferred. At least 8 years of HR experience within a manufacturing environment, with union and non-union experience considered a plus. Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and other HCM platforms. Strong knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effectively managing employee relations. Proven ability to handle compliance and benefit functions with precision. Willingness to travel domestically between division locations, approximately 10-20%
