Healthcare Attorney/Lawyer

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team on a contract basis in Gainesville, Georgia. This role involves providing legal expertise and support in healthcare and regulatory matters, including working with drug manufacturers and interpreting statutes. The position is onsite, offering an excellent opportunity to collaborate closely with a knowledgeable paralegal and gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Conduct legal research and provide guidance on healthcare regulations and compliance. • Collaborate with General Counsel to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. • Review statutes and provide clear interpretations to support organizational needs. • Assist in preparing and submitting regulatory filings as required. • Offer legal support to divisions managing drug programs and related initiatives. • Work closely with an experienced paralegal to streamline legal processes. • Address corporate and business law matters as needed. • Ensure all legal documentation aligns with current healthcare laws and standards. • Provide timely updates and recommendations to stakeholders on legal issues. • Participate in virtual or in-person meetings to discuss legal strategies and outcomes. • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership. • Proven experience in healthcare or regulatory law is highly preferred. • Strong background in contracts and corporate law. • Ability to interpret complex statutes and provide actionable insights. • Exceptional research and analytical skills. • Effective communication abilities for collaboration with various teams. • Experience in preparing regulatory filings is a plus. • Availability to work onsite in Gainesville, Georgia, with potential hybrid flexibility.
